Welcome To Carolina Boxer Rescue
Thank you for visiting Carolina Boxer Rescue. CBR is a volunteer run, 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving North and South Carolina. Our Boxers come to us from shelters, humane societies and directly from owners. They enter into volunteer foster homes throughout both states and live indoors with the foster family and other pets. Each Boxer receives a complete physical, immunizations, sterilization, heartworm test and treatment for any illnesses or diseases.

CBR will be closed July 3 - 5 for the Fourth of July holiday.   Please have a happy and safe Fourth and remember to keep your canine family members safe during this holiday!

Fireworks and Dogs - keep them apart!

Dogs and fireworks just don’t go together. While we love the spectacle, the bangs, the sheer exhilaration of a good firework display, dogs in general find it a nightmare.
The big firework spectaculars are usually not a problem, unless you live very close to the venue. It’s the small local fireworks parties which are hard to get away from, and the roving bands of boys with bangers are the worst of all.

If you have animals, the best course of action is to stay at home with them on the nights when you know there’s going to be a lot of local fireworks activity.

Nemo - male - 1-2 years old. Needs to be out of the shelter by 7/8 to avoid euthanasia.
O'Malley - male. Can be put to sleep at any time.
Phoebe - 3 y/o female surrendered to shelter because her owner is dying of cancer. She can be euthanized at any time.
Brandy - female - 4 years old. Owners were moving and left her at the shelter. She is in danger of euthanasia next week.
Sunny - male. Very sweet and passive. Good with other dogs. Very sad at shelter and is in danger of euthanasia.
