March 10, 2008... Molly is doing great- she is such a joy. She would be PERFECT for an older woman/couple who wants a lover, protector, couch potato, walk buddy. Someone to come home to after a long days work, and just love hanging out with you on the couch. Someone with children/grand children, she is so gentle with all the babies (we have cousins young as nine-months old around her). She is just content to watch TV and snuggle, at the same time, she is always up for a car ride or a nice walk. She will protect her family, she will bark if someone comes to the door, and bark on command. When we are walking at nights when I get off work, if anyone strange walks by I can say Molly "watch um" and she will start to bark like she is going to eat you...if they only knew that this is just a silly game we play. She would rather lick someone to death, but can put up a good bluff...She is just a blessing, so perfect, loving and easy. She deserves someone to treasure her like she will them
February 24, 2008... Molly is a beautiful, sweet older female boxer who was dropped at a boarding kennel a few weeks ago and never picked up. She is very friendly! She is great with my senior/blind toy poodle female, great with my playful/crazy mix boy, and puts up with my annoying/sometimes mean weenie dog male. This week, I have found four abandoned puppies, all different, each one day after another (it was puppy hell week, hope this week is not the same) and she has put up with all the puppies. She is doing great, being one out of now, seven dogs.
She is a great little girl, full of worms, and heartworm positive too. She is a SMALL boxer at about 41lbs, and she needs to gain about 10...but she is very small in frame. She is about six years old, her teeth are broken, and she has a cute under bite. She has beautiful fawn colors, and is soooo sweet. She likes the other dogs, although, I for see her being an alpha female...will let you know how that goes. She has very mild food aggression (only with dogs) and will just growl if another dogs messes with her while she eats...but she was starving/full of worms when we got her, so nothing new there. Anyway, it is not a big deal, and she is not a danger to the other dogs, she just growls.
She sleeps in bed with myself and my dog during the night, one of them on each side of me. During the day, she can be crated, but there is no need. She just happily sleeps on the couch until we get home. She is 100% trustworthy in the house, at all times, for any amount of time. She is a house angel! She will WHINE at you when she needs to go out, every single time.
She is great with all my cousins, the 8 month old, the one year old, the three year old, the eight year old, and the ten year old. She loves the babies and licks their faces clean. She was not bothered by them all running around the back yard being crazy kids...she loved it!
She does not jump fences, or dig, she goes out to play/pee and she is ready to go in when you are. She is great on a leash, and likes going on car rides. She is just an angel and I love her! She will be the perfect family member for a deserving family.
