March 14, 2009... Mia is doing well! She went through her cancer removal and her heart worm treatment in great spirits. She is a couch potato at heart and she loves going for walks. She loves sleeping on her foster sisters bed and gets along with the 2 resident cats - it is like they are not here. She loves her foster fur brother. She is still a little weary with loud noises; it scares her and she tries to run. When she goes for walks she walks right next to you, never pulling or anything. She is a great dog and she would make anyone a great companion. Mia will also let you know if something is not right as she watches over all of us. The whole family loves her. She loves rolling in the dirt so most of the time so she often is not sparkling white - she is kind of brown.
November 23, 2008... Mia has had her first round of heartworm treatment and is doing well. She goes for her second treatment this week!
