April 15, 2008...Bounce is doing quite well. He was neutered yesterday, and the vet tech said whomever named him Bounce was right on!! He's a little quiet right now, but he's a very sweet boy. At 79 lbs., he's the largest dog ever in my home. He's very happy- always wagging and wiggling and bouncing as if he's on a trampoline. We're working hard on calming his nature a little. Kinda hard with my girls who LOVE to get in your face for attention. He walks pretty well with a halter, and he's calmer when my girls are walked with him. He's very good with my girls, no dominance, no food agression at all. He's very good in his crate, although he doesn't like getting in. We let him sleep at the foot of the bed last night, and with some coaxing he stayed in his bed, without getting up on ours! I thought that was incredible, since my girls were on our bed. All in all, it's going well. He'd fit in with anyone who was willing to give him some love and attention. He's pretty easy to please. :)
