Thank you for visiting Carolina Boxer Rescue. CBR is a volunteer run, 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving North and South Carolina. Our Boxers come to us from shelters, humane societies and directly from owners. They enter into volunteer foster homes throughout both states and live indoors with the foster family and other pets. Each Boxer receives a complete physical, immunizations, sterilization, heartworm test and treatment for any illnesses or diseases.
DOGS IN AREA SHELTERS & OWNER REFERRAL DOGS
The following Boxers and Boxer mixes currently reside in shelters, humane societies or with individuals that are unable to permanently keep them. All are in need of adoption. Due to our inability to accept any new rescues, it is our hope that this page will assist these dogs in finding new homes. There are always more Boxers in Carolina shelters than the Boxer rescues can help. If you'd prefer to adopt a Boxer from a shelter rather than a rescue, please check www.petfinder.org or 1-800-save-a-pet.
Carolina Boxer Rescue, Inc. makes no representations regarding these dogs as they are not in our program. These are courtesy listings only. To find out more about one of these dogs, please contact the shelter or individual listed next to each dog's picture.

Garvey (3 years) male (fawn), and Winnie (1 year) female (white), they have both been spayed and neutered and have had some puppy training. Both are house trained and are playful and energetic! All they really need is a big backyard and lots of playtime and walks with their new owners!!! My contact information is 336-669-7585 and ask for Shawne...

Robin and her owner came to my work, at a recycling center, on a Monday. I just fell in love with Robin right away. She watched her moms every move and really listened to every word she spoke. It amazed me at how strong the bond between them was. Well, Robins mom then asked me if I wanted her. She was so sad when she asked me. I asked her if she was serious and she said that she is going into a retirement home and will no longer be allowed to have Robin. I offered to take Robin for her. She was shaking so bad when she left her mom for the first time in many years. I told her to lay down in the back of my car and she did. All the way from Sneads Ferry to Animal House in Jacksonville. She is now in foster care there and needs a forever home, a retirement home, for herself. See, Robin is about 7-10 years old and she deserves to live out the rest of her life in a loving home. She is spayed, up to date on her Rabies vaccine, and Heartworm FREE. She does need a dental cleaning and some warts removed but other than that she is in great shape. She is absolutely lovely. Please, will someone give her a loving home? She lived with a 13 year old feline friend as well that needs a home. He is neutered and declawed. They are both fine with children and other pets. Please contact Donna at doacannon@yahoo.com.

This boxer girl needs a new home. Her name is BB. She's less than 2 yrs old, spayed, fully vetted. she is a sweetheart, but she "picks" who her doggie friends will be and if she doesn't like the ones she doesn't pick, she wants to start a fight with them. She has learned to get along with the current owner's 3 other dogs, a boxer, a JRT and a beagle. But it's the brother's family dog who also lives on this large property that BB can't get along with. I feel if someone took more time to train her, she would be ok because of the fact she did learn to get along great with the current family dogs.
If interested in BB please contact: Sandra Holt

Brownie's owner is 92 years old and needs to go into an assisted living home...but won’t because of Brownie~
Hi Everyone……………I am a 7-8 old year handsome boxer, “if I don’t say so myself”, I adore people and need your help!
My human mom was put into a home with Alzheimer’s about a year ago and my human dad yearns and needs to be with my mom but he won’t leave me, he refuses to until I find a home or foster family. I keep telling dad I am sure a nice family will give me a loving home so you can go be with mom, she needs you more than I do. My mom is about 90 years old and dad, well he is a trooper at 92 years old.
I want to help my mom and dad by pleading for someone to give me a loving home. My aunts and uncles all say they “don’t need another dog”, so they can’t help. Please Please help me help my dad get to stay with my mom on what may be their last Christmas together………………..If you can help by fostering me or giving me a lifetime loving home please contact dogs@classysassypaws.com
Oh yeah I will be completely vetted, up to date on all my vaccinations, neutered and micro chipped.

Easter is a beautiful purebred white Boxer. She loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home. If invited, she likes to lounge on the couch with her foster mom while they watch TV. But she's just as content to lay on the dog beds if not allowed on the couch. She is housetrained and crate trained and knows Sit, Come, Crate up and Shake.
Easter is totally trustworthy in the house and can be left out when her foster mom isn't home. She also alerts the other dogs when her foster mom comes home from work. She sticks her head out of the blinds and watches for her every afternoon. Its very cute!
Oh, and did we mention that Easter is deaf? We forget because she knows so much. She understands hand signals and watches body language to figure people out. Pretty neat, huh?
